Aggressive driving on Trafalgar may have been attempted carjacking: police

Halton Regional Police are investigating a potential attempted carjacking in Halton Hills.

According to police, a driver in an Infiniti sedan was travelling northbound on Trafalgar Road around 12:30 a.m. yesterday (Dec. 7) when their vehicle was bumped into three separate times by a Cadillac Escalade.

“The Escalade was driving in tandem with another vehicle,” said media relations officer Const. Ryan Anderson. “The complainant did not stop and eventually they stopped following.”

He added that police are investigating the incident as a possible attempted carjacking.

The Infiniti sustained minor damage during the incident.

No suspect descriptions are currently available and no arrests have been made yet.
