Driver facing impaired charge after traffic stop in Halton Hills

A weekend traffic stop in Halton Hills has led to impaired driving charges.

On Aug. 12, Halton Regional Police officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Trafalgar Road and 15 Sideroad in Halton Hills.

As a result of an investigation, 47-year-ol Derrick Hahn of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours.

Local residents are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 911 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
