The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision involving two vehicles on Wellington Road 22.
On July 23 shortly after 6:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a hatchback on Wellington Road 22, near Trafalgar Road.
Police say the driver of the pickup truck - a 31-year-old from Erin Township - was transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The driver of the hatchback was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident. Anyone who may have seen these vehicles prior to the collision, who observed the collision or has dashcam footage is asked to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
