Halton Police have charged a 63-year-old Georgetown man with impaired driving.

A Georgetown man is facing impaired charges after driving into a creek.

Halton Police responded to a single-vehicle accident near Main Street South and Arborglen Drive in Georgetown shortly after noon on Saturday (Jan. 13). Police say the vehicle had left the road and ended up in a creek.

As a result of the investigation, a 63-year-old man was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours.

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
