Halton Police bust auto theft ring, recover stolen vehicles

A number of vehicles were recovered by the Halton Regional Police Service's Regional Auto Theft Task Force at a shipping business in Orangeville.

The Halton Regional Police Service's Auto Theft Task Force has recovered multiple stolen vehicles and helped disrupt a GTA-wide organized auto theft network in the process.

On Sept. 8, police executed a search warrant at a shipping business in Orangeville, where they say five stolen vehicles were found and recovered.

Police also recovered two stolen vehicles in Newmarket related to the case.

No arrests have been made yet in the investigation, which is ongoing.
