Milton carjacking suspect arrested, second still at large

Police warn public if they see second suspect to not approach him, but call police immediately

Police have made an arrest in a carjacking last week in Milton but are still looking for a second suspect in the case.

The carjacking took place Feb. 21.

On Feb. 26, at around 9:15 p.m., Halton Police arrested Shawn Moore, 38, of Brampton outside a Brampton residence.

Moore has been charged with:

  • Robbery
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (3 counts)
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Mischief Under $5,000
  • Theft Under $5,000

Moore was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Investigators are still seeking to arrest a second suspect, Gary Walker, age 37. 

Police warn the public that if they see Walker, do not approach him, but call police immediately.
