An Oakville man who went missing in early July has been found dead.
Halton Regional Police announced this morning that Mustafa Toufexief, who was last seen in Oakville on July 8, has been "located deceased."
"The HRPS would also like to express condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Toufexief as they grieve during this difficult time," police said in a press release.
"Out of respect of privacy for the family, there will be no further updates from police."
Following his disappearance, Toufexief's family went to the media to keep his case in the public eye and raise awareness about the need for more mental health supports.
