A Milton man is facing a variety of charges following an investigation by the Halton Regional Police human trafficking unit.
On Feb. 2, Chris Almas, 45, was arrested in connection with the probe that began in January.
He has been charged with:
- Sexual assault
- Non-consensual distribution of intimate images
- Procuring
- Exercise control
- Material benefit resulting from sexual services
- Advertise sexual services.
He is in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police say Almas sometimes goes by the online name of Christy Lee.
