Halton Regional Police are investigating following a break-in at a rural home under construction.

On July 28 around 7:50 p.m., police say four suspects arrived in a pickup truck at the residence - in the area of Eighth Line and 5 Sideroad - and proceeded to enter the home through the front door.

“At that time, there was a person inside the home who confronted the suspects,” said Halton Regional Police media relations officer Ryan Anderson.

“The suspects pushed the person and took their cell phone and then fled the scene in the truck.”

The victim suffered minor injuries.

No suspect descriptions are currently available and no arrests have been made yet.

The investigation is ongoing.
