Thief steals camera, damages property at Acton quarry

Police say a lock was cut to gain access to the rural site

Halton Regional Police are investigating a weekend break-in at an Acton quarry.

Sometime overnight July 23/24, police say a lock was cut at one of the entrances to Dufferin Aggregates’ rural Acton property.

According to police, a trailer and shed on the property were broken into and damaged, a fire extinguisher was sprayed, and a camera was stolen.

No arrests have been made, and no suspect description is available.
