Three suspects sought following armed home invasion in Milton

Police say the victims didn't suffer physical injuries

Halton Regional Police are appealing to the public for information following an armed home invasion in Milton.

On Jan. 18 at approximately 11 p.m., police say three armed suspects entered the garage of a home on Robert Street in downtown Milton.

"Two people who were working inside the garage at the time the suspects entered were forced into the home," police said in a press release.

"Once inside, the three suspects threatened the residents and demanded cash. The suspects also went to the second floor of the home and rummaged through drawers and closets looking for valuables before fleeing the home in a dark-coloured SUV."

Police say the victims didn't suffer physical injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspects were described to police as:

  • Suspect 1: Male, black, heavy build, approximately 5-foot-6, wearing a black balaclava and dark clothing
  • Suspect 2: Male, unconfirmed race or skin colour, medium build, approximately 5-foot-10, wearing a black balaclava and dark clothing
  • Suspect 3:  Male, black, thin build, approximately 5 feet tall, wearing a black balaclava and dark clothing.

Investigators are appealing to the public for any video footage (dash cam or doorbell) near the intersection of Robert Street and Bronte Street South from 10:30 pm to 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 18.
