A little rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of local residents Saturday as they turned out to support the Fill a Fire Truck food drive at Acton Sobeys.
The event brought in over 1,400 pounds of non-perishable foods and $614 in monetary donations.
The contributions will support the Roxy Centre Pantry and Food for Life program, which work together to serve local residents out of the Roxy Centre in downtown Acton.
